We're taking time to highlight just a couple warehouse projects and garages we completed in the last couple of years. We're not always great about reviewing the builds we're constructing because we always have so many going up, but being able to see the details of building projects is important when you're looking for ideas, for builders, and even for the specs you are trying to determine for your own garage, outbuilding, commercial build, or home.
This building project we constructed in Kankakee County, Illinois, is a 40x80x14 warehouse. Featuring black 12x12 insulated overhead garage doors, 4/12 roof pitch, a 6x16 lean-to porch, and black and charcoal metal colors, this project came together beautifully!
Kalamazoo County, Michigan, Garage Addition
Returning clients that we built the original garage for came back to us for an addition after several years when they needed to expand/needed more storage space.
The addition to the existing build features concrete (floor/building slab, aprons, and porches), an 8x28 lean-to porch, Endure windows, 32x40x16 (existing build was also a 32x40), 4/12 roof pitch, interior partition walls, man door, and a 10x8 overhead door with high-rise tracks. The garage also had a custom paint color of Pewter (to match the existing building color), along with roof and trim in Bright White.
This retail space with offices and breakroom areas in the back was constructed just this past year in Three Oaks, Michigan. It's a 48x64, with a drive-thru window feature, two small porches, steel colors in black and white, and a turnkey interior. This area has seen a lot of growth in the last several years and we continue to construct garages, barns, commercial builds and warehouses, as well as barndominium homes in this and surrounding counties.
Here are some great overview videos of two post frame homes we constructed a few years ago in Lake Village, Indiana area (Newton County, Indiana). We've seen the barndominium builds continue to be a popular choice and many of our clients get creative with their designs. We work with a dedicated team of designers and engineers to ensure that these homes are always built to last for decades (and, of course, always to local and state building codes 😉).
The above is a "barn" home style build - it has a 40x60x10 home/living space area, with an attached 40x50x16 shop/garage.
